Goal: Invoke ease of routine, ample space and a place for hobbies

Really Clean

• Floors – sweep, mop, consider paint if unfinished
• Light switches and fixtures
• Basement windows
• Remove any spider webs
• Any areas that may hold mould or dampness

Remove or Store

• Any items neatly in one place preferably in containers and boxes
• Any and all garbage
• Organize the basement; if it is used for storage condense the piles into one section

Replace or Repair

• All doors that do not swing/slide smoothly
• Light fixtures that do not work, are dated or are too small
• Fix cement cracks in the floors and ceiling
• Trim or edging that may be damaged
• Obstructed drains

Review & Detail

• Pay attention to odours of sighting of dampness
• Ozone machines will eliminate odour of dampness and mould odours
• Be sure that walls are free so they can be inspected
